Installing and Using OpenWrt

I have Reboot (17.01.4, r3560-79f57e422d)

Im trying to install openvpn as a client. I followed this tut https://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/vpn.openvpn#tab__client1

I have the ovpn file where will it go? just in ect/openvpn ? Then how do i load it and enable it?

Any help would be great total newbie please explain like im a child :slight_smile:

If someone could help me ill do a video for others on youtube after i done it for others to use.

In my /etc/openvpn i have one file test.ovpn (after reading about this, i believe they only use one file now but you can split the file and made a new file called test.crt??) Im trying to use my own server as the host and want my router to use that connection.

I used this tut https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/services/vpn/openvpn/client
I use wget to get the two files but thats not the host i use. so i have to edit them but what with? On my server i just create a user and thought i would just have to add the .ovpn and boom it works.

Do I need two files from my openvpn server ? Or is it one file I split ? Do I just use the openvpn file?

Any help would be great

Ok so have worked out where my .key file was.

so in etc/openvpn i have gklespurs.key and gklespurs.ovpn. I have edited my ovpn file. Im getting close just need a little bit more help. when i try and load in putty is says

root@LEDE:~# openvpn gklespurs.ovpn
