Open vpn setup problem

hi,

I tried 10x to setup my vpn, I follow the doc, exactly but everytime, I lose internet wifi and no connection to von anyway with that kind of messages in log:

I am on that since 4 hours....
it worked on david502 build on my wrt3200 and now on my r7800 with the last build, it does not work

What doc are you referring to ?

Are you trying to connect to ExpressVPN ?

I would suggest you install OpenWrt 19.07.2 stable release.
Clear/Reset all openwrt settings.

Yes it is Express VPN and I have the 19.07.02.
Hyman build.
I found a tutorial on Express vpn on open wrt.
Very well made. And as i said, it worked on my other router it the other build made by davidc502.....

Your config file is not pleasing the demon :japanese_ogre:. Please post it in code tags minus passwords and keys. ( ^^^ < / > )

finaly it worked, so now, I dont want all my traffic via vpn, just few. Policy based routing or vpn bypass would be the best?

whichever one you find easiest... if you "reserve ip's" for the "few" clients... so they are contiguous... you can then send your "normal" clients out the wan easily using VLSM... i.e. 192.168.1.0/25 etc.

also, when I want another vpn server, Do I need to change it eveytime in ''edit'' in vpn ''remote''
or it is possible to create many profiles in OpenVPN instance?

depends what it's for...

  • remotes are multiple "doors" into the same house ( keys, pwd )
  • instances can support entire alternate configs and parallel connections

cause here we can see option to load many servers but I added one but I dont have options after to choose one or the other in instances!

one question, I followed a tuto and I think the problem was the firewall setting.

So I Followed another tuto to try and it works but could you tell me if it seems ok?
the first one is the tuto and the second one is my setup..
