OLD wireless router ZYXEL EX3300-TO

hi, I have an old ZYXEL router model EX3300-TO, which has a USB port built-in.

Q1. is this router supported by openwrt? I couldn’t find it on the list

Q2. can I use the USB port on the router to connect with an unused Iphone6s for internet connection? if yes, how to?

thank you.

It doesn't appear to be.

Yes, if you could install Openwrt.

any suggestions? to install openwrt on it

If it's not supported, how can we provide suggestions?

EX3301 is Econet, EX3300 is probably the same.

Econet is a dead end, support wise.

You can request zyxel gpl source from here:

EN7516 - VDSL2/35b/ADSL2+ High Performance Dual-Band Wi-Fi VoIP Gateway
The EN7516 is a highly integrated VDSL2 35b/17a, ADSL2+ system-on-chip processor for xDSL router/gateway plus Wi-Fi 4/5/6 applications.
It features dual-core CPU 900MHz, integrated Ethernet switch and multi-port gigabit PHYs, RGMII, USB3.0/2.0, PCIe, and multi-line VoIP support.
Equipped with high throughput networking engine, Smart Packet Accelerator (SPA), EN7516 enables low-power, low-latency, and wire-speed performance with fully CPU offload.

Probably a lot of closed source proprietary stuff, but if you request the GPL source you'd have a better idea.
