I wanted to have a ntpd installation that I could query so I installed ntpd.......
It did not work as expected, so I am trying to revert to sysntpd.
I have disabled and stoped ntpd.
Enabled and started sysntpd
Now I get a log entries saying 'jail failed to load dependencies' and 'crash x7'
Is there a way I can determine which dependencies are missing and reload them??
Solved my own problem by uninstalling ntpd ... now the sysntpd from Busybox works.
Entries are in /etc/config/system but they do not appear in Luci - Why??? Hints would be appreciated.

They are in Luci. For OpenWRT 24.10: System -> System -> Time Synchronization tab has a checkbox for Provide NTP server
Thanks - The time sync tab had disappeared.... but it is there now.
