No SSH with My Config after Update to Snapshot then back to Release

I update D-Link DIR 2640 A1 from 23.05.5 to snapshot yesterday 2024-12-02 (openwrt-62abec058181) from firmwareseletor with these packages

luci-proto-wireguard luci-app-pbr stubby qosify luci-app-banip luci-app-uhttpd usbutils kmod-usb-storage-uas block-mount kmod-fs-ext4 kmod-usb-storage kmod-usb2 kmod-usb-core htop pciutils aircrack-ng airmon-ng

  • I accessed LuCI once after update

Problem

  1. then Wifi won't connect
  2. can't ssh with ethernet.

I tried

disabling banip from failsafe mode thinking RAM maybe be limiting and still not working.

Update -

  1. tried firstboot && reboot and reflashed and reuploaded the settings and still the same

  2. downgraded to stable and reuploaded the settings now that too now is acting like snapshot

  3. I repeated and uploaded a 1.5 month old config and still the same

does the device connected by ethernet get ip address?

and the important question- these mentioned packages are additional or the only packages you installed?
i mean didn't you select dropbear and dnsmasq package in firmware selector?

did you access luci once via ethernet?

looks like the problem is in the setting/configuration

I repeated and uploaded a 1.5 month old config and still the same

what could be the problem I can try and edit the config

just flash a fresh openwrt stable version and do not upload any old configuration. try to manually configure the settings one by one

*uncheck keep previous settings when uploading squashfs sysupgrade in luci (if you can access luci)
