No sound on Olinuxino A20 micro

I built a squashfs image for Sunxi -> Olimex A20-Olinuxino Micro from the source.
Sound isn't working for me. Neither does the sound device show up.

$ aplay -l
aplay: device_list:268: no soundcards found...
$ ls /dev/snd
timer

I have set the following kernel config options, but it still doesn't seem to work.

PACKAGE_kmod-sound-core
PACKAGE_kmod-sound-soc-core
PACKAGE_kmod-sound-soc-sunxi

Am I missing something?
