No port opens no matter what

Can you verify if I have done anything wrong? I am an amateur, but want to open up my ports for a Soulseek software. I don't want to go as far as to unlock uPNP.
Any ideas?

Settings in LAN:

These settings are in effect, yet no ports are open when checking with external port checker websites.

Do you have a proper public ip on wan?

What do you mean? And how do I check that?

go to https://whatismyipaddress.com/, does the IP shown there match the IP on your openwrt device's wan port ?

Thank you for clarifying.

ANSWER:

  • Public IP on the whatsmyip is: XX.XXX.XX.26

  • My WAN in the router interface is: XX.XXX.XXX.26/24

So it matches, except for the 26/24 part. I assume however its green light, but please help me confirm.
Also, what should I do from here?

Yes, see my above reply.

Yea but for the question if you have a real internet address.
Do the left XX. mean either one of 192 or 172 or 10?

My public IP adress is a Static IP distributed by my ISP. It starts with 90.XXX.XXX.26.
It is also displayed in LuCi:
bild

(I obviously hide the real numbers behind X because I don't want to be DDOS'ed.)

It looks like a real public IP address

But note that a port is only open if there is actually someone listening (TCP) if not the port is not open (yet) but can show as closed e.g. in grc's shields up

out of curiosity, how are you trying to verify the port's actually open ?

Is the firewall on the device at 192.168.1.100 configured to accept external connections on port 2234?

I think so:

The IP of the server machine on the lan must be specified. It is properly set in your first post but not the second one.

Some ISPs give you a public IP but still block all incoming connections or certain ports. This can be checked by running tcpdump on the wan interface while using a port scan site to send requests from outside.

You have opened your firewall such that your router is completely exposed to the internet.

Please immediately set the input rule on the wan zone to reject.

You did not answer my question... Your router is forwarding the connections that it receives on the WAN interface, and passing them to the device at 192.168.1.100; is the device at 192.168.1.100 (not the router) open for external connections?

Thank you, I now solved it thanks to your restatement!
I added a NAT-rule for the device and now it works.

Sending much love now
