No luci after 19.07.1 upgrade [solved]

Greetings,

I have self compiled openwrt router within a vm on my server.
after upgrade to 19.07.1, I'm unable to connect to luci.
I get an "Unable to connect" error.
how can I debug this?

Login by ssh, and see logs.

Did you include LuCI in your build?
Can you login by SSH and check if it is running?

yeah, that was the issue, the migration from 18.06 to 19.07.1 wasn't good and I lost some of the configs.
the webservice for luci wasn't selected.
