After reconnecting that WAN port to test it was working on my PC, reconnecting it to the HH5A we suddenly have internet!

Maybe the jack is loose or some pin doesn't touch the terminals in the socket. It's good you found out rather quickly.

Just to summarise how this was the solution

By running

swconfig dev eth0 show

@trendy highlighted that the link status of port 5 was down

After physically re-connecting Ethernet connection to the WAN port of the HH5A and rebooting the router I started receiving incoming traffic.

Thanks to @frollic and @trendy for their help in this.
