No access to OpenWRT box

Hi all
I think I misconfigured my device, now I am not able to connect it within my LAN anymore. The IP address 192.168.1.1 is not working as well and I can't connect at startup by FTP. What can I do to reset the device without network connection? It doesn't have a reset button.
https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/troubleshooting/failsafe_and_factory_reset was not really helpful :frowning:

Any ideas?

What kind of device? Make, model and version and OpenWrt version please.

Fritzbox 7430, OpenWRT 23.05.2

According to this Belgian ISP at

https://www.edpnet.be/en/support/installation-and-usage/internet/manage-fritz!box/how-do-i-reset-my-fritz!box-to-factory-settings.html

"Another way to restore to factory settings is to trigger a reset using an analog telephone. It may be useful if for some reason, you cannot login to the modem user interface.

Just connect a telephone to the port FON of your FRITZ!Box and dial #99115901590. If the code is accepted, all LEDs will start flashing.

As soon as the factory settings have finished loading, the WLAN LED will remain lit. Connect to the user interface, which should be reachable on http://fritz.box or http://192.168.178.1, to start setting up your FRITZ!Box."

Ive never heard of this technique...i would love to know if it eorks

It does not, at least not after flashing OpenWrt (not that OpenWrt would support any phone features at all).

If the generic failsafe doesn't work (pressing the button repeatedly during early boot), installing OpenWrt again (via ftp using the ADAM2 bootloader) should reset all settings.

Pressing the buttons repeatedly during early boot has worked now, although it hasn't yesterday. Thank you for this suggestion.
