I did a forum search, and checked the supported hardware table, but....
I've seen times when people get OpenWRT working on hardware not on said forum/table just yet and I am just curious now...
Any chance OpenWRT will work on NICGIGA S25-0801-M? It has a web interface that allows you to upload payloads to the unit. Anyone have one of these and have OpenWRT working on it?
Why do I want OpenWRT on this unit? Because I have one of these things and I would love to be able to remove it's default, compromised, Chinese software, and deploy an open solution such as OpenWRT. This is especially true after the whole TP Link Debacle where TP Link devices are no longer allowed to be sold in the US due to TP Link providing the Chinese military backdoors in all their devices, most of which can be avoided if you are using something like OpenWRT. NICGIGA is a Chinese company and well I would love to be able to just replace the compromised software rather than buy an entirely new switch.
I know it's a long shot but it's worth asking.
