Newbie - point browser at newly flashed netgear wndr3700

Hi,

I've just downloaded and build 'OpenWrt SNAPSHOT, r12869-85aef6f627' and tftp'd a 'openwrt-ar71xx-generic-wndr3700v2-squashfs-factory.img' it boots and I can SSH and ping ok. I thought the build images came with a default web interface. I can see a tcp listen on port 80, using firefox from the ethernet bridge to the default 192.168.1.1 I get get 'connection refused'

Any ideas most welcome!

You have installed a snapshot image.

Right just having googled snapshots I understand what snapshots are. I just git cloned openwrt I guess I need to target a given version for the web interface.

I had the same problem with my wndr3700 and the snapshots. I think the snapshots don't come with LuCI installed.

You just needs to select "luci" to be installed to the firmware (in make menuconfig).

Or install it with opkg to the live router:

opkg update
opkg install luci
