New Wi-Fi vulnerability (probably) affecting OpenWrt

@lantis1008 Maybe try bugging @greearb about ath10k, he might know. I know you're not interested in mt76 but I recall nbd stating some of the affected functionality was not present in the 19.07 mt76 code, maybe that helps you some.

Hope you get the info you need and good luck with Gargoyle :relaxed:

@Sparks He's not freeloading, he's the (lead?) developer of Gargoyle

ath10k has been patched for FragAttacks in the upstream kernel and this is already integrated.

I updated ath10k-ct drivers that owrt uses a few weeks ago, but I don't know if anyone pulled those into openwrt.

Thanks,
Ben

The version that 21.02 is running is dated June 3rd, and the makefile in that commit points to what is currently the last commit of the master branch in your ath10k-ct repo so it should be covered.

what about this https://hashcat.net/forum/thread-7717.html

you have just dug up a 1 year old thread for
„Jul 21“ of the last post = June 2021. Not June 21, 2022.
And the thread that you crosslinked is a different issue.

and to the guy, who posted last: why add yet another link of a wifi flaw thread, where the last post was 3 years ago?

can someone close this thread?
