New WAN link not responding to pings

I have a new 1Gbps fibre connection.

This is using a TP-Link UE300 USB connector. I am able to connect to the internet without issue.

I've set up a broadband quality monitor, but the interface isn't responding to ping requests.

This is working fine for my existing PPPoE WAN link.

Is there a setting that I need to enable?

My firewall rules already contain and 'allow ping' rule that includes the new WAN link.


Any ideas?

I have found the issue. It appears that my IP address has already changed. I've asked the provider for a static IP address.
