New user trying to install on Archer C60

Hi everyone, I am interested in give OpenWRT a try and from my box 10+ modem/routers switches I found a TP-Link Archer C60 v2 that is listed as compatible

The page for this device is quite a mess: https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/archer_c60_v2

The first problem is that the "Factory Image" link for the V2 leads to 404 page. From my understanding it is the one that I need to upload to the stock WebUI.

Moreover, I find confusing that even if this is a 8/64 device, the device page says it has support for v23.05.5 but the Table of Hardware at the very top says:

No support for 8 MB FLASH / 64 MB RAM devices in modern (18.06 and later) OpenWrt.

Any help is appreciated

it's a C&P error, it should be after 23.05.

@jow could you please fix the no support for 8/64 after 23.05 info text ?

You have to use (smaller) v22 factory image then sysupgrade.

Thanks, that did the trick

But I had to find first this page https://firmware-selector.openwrt.org/

which I think is very clear and easy to use

Actually most 8/64 devices are still supported in 24.10 YMMV when it is released.
