I am new to OpenWrt.
The Model is: Netgear WNDR3400V3
I can fire up router and log into LuCI, set up root password, can log into ssh as well. However, on the network tab I don't see wireless . I understand wireless is disabled by default, but can't figure a way to enable.
Pls help.
FWIW:
I found the firmware : 'openwrt-23.05.0-bcm47xx-mips74k-netgear_wndr3400-v3-squashfs' from the link in file 'ToH_dump_tab_separated'. The router already had dd-wrt, so installed openwrt from dd-wrt's way of changing firmware.
Maybe use current version 23.05.5
Have you read the disclaimer on the top of the page
https://openwrt.org/toh/netgear/wndr3400
v2 and v3: WiFi is completely inoperable on both 2.4Ghz and 5GHz bands.
Blame Broadcom for this, not the OpenWrt developers.

Thanks. I hadn't read that page.
No problem we are here to help, for those old Broadcom routers DDWRT is the better choice
