So the One is a bit special in that it requires 15 Volts... I switched mine to PoE power almost immediately and had zero issues, but I already had a PoE switch ready.
Off the top of my head, I would tend to fault first the USB-C cable based on the intermittent nature you appear to be experiencing. On the other hand, PD PS’s do have internal circuitry that “talks” with the OO on power up to determine the expected device power requirement.
If your alternate “no problem” PS & cable from work just works, I would raise an issue with the vendor, especially since you have just take delivery of the current device.
It's the new One, it is broken.
So ps from work works. HP notebook usb-c ps works also.
My ps does not work with works One.
I got an USB-Tester now.
It is showing that my ps is doing stable 15 V and between 1 Watts and 10 Watts.
So something is alive inside my One.
Could that be an invisible boot loop?
One at work does not go above 4 Watts.
