New Nanopi r1 OpenWrt 22.03.2 no ip

I've prepared an sdcard with openwrt images for nanopi r1 (no emmc version) from the firmware selector.

I've tried this with 3 different cards ( squashfs en ext4 images ) but i dont get an ip over ethernet from the lan port to my linuxbox.

The red system led flashes 2 times continuously ( i guess thats normal behaviour when the system is running.).
I have no idea how to troubleshoot this.

which tool did you use, to write the bootable sd cards?

I used balna etcher on windows and also dd on linux both with the same result

1 ) Anyone know the serial parameters for the nanopi r1 debug port ? (allwinner h3)
2 ) for the problem I'm having could it be something broke on the 22.03 images for nanopi r1 ?

Try to use image from FriendlyElec initially.

try win32 disk imager as another alternative.

I downloaded the friendlywrt image based on 19.07.
I wrote this using balena etcher on one of the sd cards and it works , im getting an ip. And i'm able to access luci from the webgui.

That must mean there is some issue with the nanopi r1 22.03.2 images i got from the openwrt firmware selector for this device.

OK, and what about new version FriendlyWRT?

Check, whether router gets IP, or gives IP by DHCP.

In FriendlyElec's OpenWrt system the Ethernet(eth0) is configured as WAN.
Before power on your board make sure your board is connected to a master router's LAN with an Ethernet cable and the eth0 will be assigned an IP address by DHCP.

I cant find a newer version of friendlywrt but i would have prefereed using the openwrt images if they would work.

For native OpenWRT check, whether router GIVES IP on lan port.

Hi , already tested friendlywrt based on 19.07 see my message nr 8.
And yes im getting an ip on lan with that version.

However there is no recent version based on 22.xx.

And the openwrt images for 22.03.2 do not work correctly ( dont give ip on lan )

Did you see any console output during the boot process?

yes both images with 3 different sd cards , i have an uart 2 usb adapter but which parameters on the debug port?

should 115200 8N1 work?
