New longterm kernel

Any info when OpenWrt snapshot would be available with new longterm kernel? 5.10 kinda outdated already, i'm sure a lot of people here would like to try 5.15!
i mean in kernel smb!
completely re-designed work with filesystems!

This is an initial step for 5.15 support. The generic part **in theory** should …be finished. **This require https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/pull/4036** As dsa driver is now stable lets just use it for the new kernel directly. (someone tested this with x86 target and didn't report any error) (we found more info... iptables are not init by default anymore probably fw3 require some changes to adapt to the new logic) (using the revert patch to make fw3 works, makes pppoe stop working (only ping works) dhcp wan works correctly. fw4 works correctly)~~ **fw3 is now fixed** ~~a patch is in bound to be merged in the firewall3 repo and then the openwrt version bumped.~~ - ~~one usb port on ipq806x doesn't work. Still have to investigate why.~~ Fixes have fun noticing what was wrong (GOT ME VERY TRIGGERED) (will send the fix upstream with the other changes) - ~~smem cause kernel panic.~~ Fixed ~~and proposed upstream.~~ and merged upstream. The problem was in the conflicting rootfs patch. While at it also notice other problem that can cause a kernel panic and fix a memory leak. Noteworthy changes and notice: --- - Patch pending 613 optional tcp window check has been standardized and the __read_mostly tag dropped. We should check if this cause some performance degradation as the value will be cached less and the access should be generally slower. - I didn't refresh this as any fuzz should be checked to make sure we are not applying something in the really wrong place. Reported problem with feeds package & some package: --- - ~~ksmbd fails to build due removed locks_verify_truncate() in upstream kernels.~~ (fixed upstream, feed package needs to be updated) - Can't manage to fix a build problem with KEYS kernel flag enabled. Makefile doesn't correctly detect a dependency. Tested device: - ipq806x: Netgear R7800 - ipq40xx: FritzBox 7530 Changelog: --- - 18/12/2021: Refreshed the pr, rebased on today master, added missing patch. Rebased with the new kernel files. - 16/01/2022: (part 2) Refresh kernel version. Added affinity patch. Added note about fixed ksmbd - 02/02/2022: Rebased to 5.15.19. Added qca8k mdio improvement patch.

5.15 will only get pushed to master when a new release branch based on 5.10 gets created. Devs don't want to keep multiple versions around (increases maintenance burden).
