New install on asus RT-AX53U

Hi,
i've try to install openwrt on my router asus RT-AX53U, i've follow this page

but now when i plug my laptop on router (port lan) i've 10.42.0.1 for ip on my laptop
router take 10.42.0.33 as ip address but all ports are closed
so how can i connect to router now ?

Isolate the laptop and the 53U, you should get an 192.168.1.x IP.

that what i've done,
only a cable between laptop and router
when i use nmap i see all ports closed, is it briked ?

That's not the router's IP, if we assume the flash was successful.

yes i know, so i've plug router behind my box (free)
and now ip address for router is 192.168.1.200
but all ports are closed too...

Then you're not isolating them...

first i was isolated and with ip 10.42.0.33 for router and all ports closed

second i've try pluging on my box, and with ip 192.168.1.200 and all ports closed too...

If all ports would be closed you wouldn't be getting an IP ...

Try ssh to 192.168.1.1, when the 53U and the laptop are isolated.

it's my fault !
on my laptop ipv4 was static (last test)
now it's OK, i can connect to asus router with 192.168.1.1
