New hostname | How to regenerate web-security certificate

I have changed the hostname of my OpenWrt router and need to regenerate the web-security certificate.

I tried issuing this command and rebooted my router, but the certificate hasn't been updated to reflect the new hostname.

/etc/init.d/uhttpd restart

The values used in the certificate are configured in /etc/config/uhttpd

(The values are static and do not reflect the router name.)

Edit the values there, remove the old uhttpd certs from /etc and restart uhttpd to generate new certs.

JFTR: You don't actually need to regenerate your certificate. Unlike with certificates signed by an authority where the Common Name (CN) must match the FQDN, with self-signed certificates the CN is pretty much cosmetic, they will not be unquestioningly accepted as valid anyway.
