I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to kindly request your support in developing OpenWrt firmware for the Xiaomi Router AX1500.

Currently, this device does not have official OpenWrt support, and I believe many users like myself would greatly benefit from having an open-source firmware option for improved customization, security, and performance.

If there’s any additional information or testing required from my side to assist in the porting process, I’d be happy to help. Thank you for your time and dedication to the OpenWrt project.

It uses realtek chipset which is as good as going directly to e-waste grinder. No mainline linux support for it at all nor in foreseable future.
