New device firmware PSK-MISMATCH and local deauth request

I have recently reflashed an ESP device with Tasmota and reset the configuration. I then reconnected via the device AP to connect to the router but am now getting this error.

I suspect it is a mismatched signature.

If so, is there any way to clear the cached signature?

you're asking us about the Tasmota device ?

No, it seems the OpenWrt router will not connect because the Tasmota device has a new signature.

that is what I took from that error message on the router.

I didn't know Tasmota ESP devices were AP capable, but OK.

what signature ?

No, I have an 8266 device, that I have just reflashed with a fresh Tasmota version (completely fresh). It was previously connected to the OpenWrt AP. When it now tries to connect to the OpenWrt AP I am getting the error above.

It looks to me like the OpenWrt Router is objecting to the device, with the same mac, trying to connect with a different signature.

Solved because I realised my stupidity (wrong password :frowning: )
