# Netifd script API documentation for developer

Hi All,

I am reading about the netifd protocol's scripts and found that these scripts use the function API from shell script to update the interface's status also creating dynamic interface (at runtime). But I don't find any documentation for these APIs, like which kind of interface is able to use update ip data `proto_add_ipv4_address "<ip>" "<mask>"`. It could be use full to have the documentation for this. Is there any direction to know where I should look for these stuff?
