Netgear WNR3500 v2

Hi,

I have a Netgear WNR3500 v2 currently on DD-WRT.
I have compiled the latest firmware for OpenWRT for this device but I can't flash it from the DD-WRT interface.

Can anyone give me a clue as to how to get it installed; I'm guessing TFTP ?

Drew.

The safest approach is always to revert to the vendor firmware first (which should be documented for most 3rd party firmwares) and then to install LEDE from there. Especially dd-wrt might have installed a non-standard bootloader or employed a different partitioning scheme, potentially making a direct installation difficult or even dangerous.

Always flash vendor stock firmware first when going from DD-WRT to OpenWRT/LEDE or viceversa.
Also remember that many hw require to trim bin header from stock bin before upload firmware file.
Once you had LEDE you can safely upgrade between versions using sysupgrade bin files.
