around 800
Are you talking about upload or download? You should be getting full gigabit speeds download (assuming your wireless network card can handle at least 1,201 Mbps) but your upload is limited to about 400 Mbps on OpenWRT 23.05.5. There is a fix in OpenWRT 24.10.x that allows full multi-gig speeds up and down. See my comment from October 14 above.
If you are not achieving full gigabit over Wi-Fi, try using the 5GHz band with 160MHz channels. If that doesn't work, try replacing you laptop NIC with an Intel AX200 or similar chip that supports 160MHz channels and is a 2X2.
Anyone else getting issues with Macs when video / audio calling when WiFi 6 is enabled?
Like people will say my speech drops out a lot. But switching to WiFi 5 totally fixes it
Is there anyone who can post the output of the "iw list" command?

Thank you very much
Does anybody running/testet 24.10.0?
Is this fix there also implemented?
Are there any other bugs detected?
I am on 24.10 since release day, and I am getting more or less full gigabit speeds up & down with my iPhone 16 Pro on iperf3 when right next to my WAX220, pretty stable. Also no bugs or issues so far
Hi, with Version 24.10 I am still experience some issue when updating the firmware or importing settings to my POE powered WAX220. The UI becomes unavailable and even a Ping is not working anymore. Wlan and network keep working. Does anyone have the same issue?
Did you check the box "keep settings" when flashing the new image? It is possible that the router reverted to default settings, which would be an IP address of 192.168.1.1 and Wi-Fi disabled.
Yes, the box was checked. Did it via ssh and webui as well. Box is also not acessable via 192.1681.1. The same happens if I do a backup and then just import the data again.
Worst case, hold the reset button on the back for fifteen seconds to factory reset the device to default OpenWRT settings and then try accessing the device at 192.168.1.1. Also make sure no other devices on your network have the same IP address as the access point.
potential cause: you installed nginx before the upgrade and the default web server is set to nginx.
If thats the case, you should install nginx via SSH, the reboot the router
Of course, it’s working when resetting and reconfiguring everything manually, but that’s annoying after each firmware update. I might have read that someone else had the same issue, but I cannot find it in this thread anymore.
I cannot connect to the Access Point after the Upgrade with ssh, besides the configured network traffic it seems to be dead.
I’ve updated several devices 100 times, with my R7800s everything still works, it’s just the POE powered WAX220 that show this behavior.
Mine is POE powered as well but I never faced any issue so far.
Just curious, does "Hardware Offloading" work on this device?
