Netgear RBR50 eMMC as overlay

Hallo Guys!

I have tried to look for this topic but haven't been lucky i guess. In case someone knows an existing similar topic feel free to move this question there.

When we install openwrt to netgear Orbi RBR50 we get only 24mb as overlay storage when the device has some space like 2.2gb unallocated space in the emmc.

Can we have assistance from the community from those who know how to manipulate the partitions so that we can make full use of the device with more space on the overlay. I mean it will be really great, if some that free space on the emmc could be added to the overlay for more space for apps. it will be fun to play with containerization/docker on this device.

@saidearly Did you realize how to get the eMMMC working?
I have the same problem and, following the guides around to the extend the rootfs doesn't seem to do the trick.
Also I have tried to compile with the option ROOTFS_PARTSIZE and different values (2048, 1024) but after flashing the image, nothing changes, still 22.4 mb
I would like to retire my old and reliable Tp-link wdr-4900, but the absence of the flash in the netgear is stopping me right now.
Any advice, as there isn't to be any clue, or didn't know how to find it, in the forum about this topic.
