I assume you mean 500 Mbps and not 500 MBps. Even then I find those numbers hard to believe considering how you made the post below in the other thread, and just darted off when people began to ask what sort of fix you were talking about.

LOL 100-150Mbps with current official openwrt build? Seriously you need to fix your builds. 1.7Ghz Arm core can easily do 1gbps nat in sw. In fact I have a custom ipq8x board here with a custom fixed openwrt kernel, that does this:-)

That's just based on your limited knowledge. If the bugs I know off are fixed, then it will do nat without software offload at only around 20% cpu load. If it is stable only in one environment I wouldn't call that stable for all. And what about all the other things newer kernel support, sqm etc. , unless these issues are fixed it will never go into mainline.

OEM with nss cores cannot achieve the same sqm throughput compared to my fixed build
