NetGear R6220 bandwith limitation issue

Hi,

Can anyone provide me tips where can I find the issue of throttled limitation of bandwidth.
I have made a upgrade of Internet to 500Mbps and I cannot find/ see where the router is limiting more or less between 250/300 Mbps.

Thank you.

No one knows or give a good direction to resolve this issue?

"Hardware flow offloading" must be enabled to get 500Mbps and more.

@Ityns
Thank you for your kind reply.

There must be something else, which is preventing the speed from being reached, because at Firewall I had already activated that option and in my case it doesn't work, any ideas?

Are you using OpenWrt 19.07.4? In some older versions (for instance 19.07.3) "Hardware flow offloading" doesn't work.
If yes, have you tried restoring default settings, going back to Netgear's stock firmware or even using a different router? Maybe there's a problem with your ISP.

Yes. I have the last Firmware. My ISP delivery de max capacity, I already tested. the issue is in this router. For now I don´t have a different router to test, but I will see what I can do do.

I will try to reset to the default Openwrt config, just to check it, but I don´t know how can I save my software already installed and restore safely. Can you give me (if you know) the commands to do that?

tks

@Ityns
Thank you.

It was enough to reset the equipment and everything was working has expected.
But as soon as I imported my settings, additional software or not, it came back again, that is, there is something that is causing this issue :frowning:

Now what?!

I guess you have to inspect your config files. :thinking:

It was a custom iptable, I don´t know why, but remove this 2 lines resolved my issue.

#iptables -I FORWARD -m conntrack --ctstate RELATED,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT
#iptables -t nat -I POSTROUTING -o br-wan -s 192.168.3.0/24 -j MASQUERADE

Also, with "Software flow offloading" enabled. :slightly_smiling_face:
