Netgear EX3110 repeater support

Hello,
I've got cheap (and nice?) but surprisingly not yet supported piece of device: Netgear EX3110.
It has:
MT7628AN - SoC
MT7612EN - radio
8 MB FLASH - MX25L6433F
64 MB RAM - NT5TU32M16FG-AC
3 buttons, 4 LEDs
power supply integrated

bought mine for ~20 euros, currently around 40 euros.

It looks like the chips are well supported by OpenWRT.

Issues?

  • Serial port on test points instead of pins (no bootlog yet)
  • I can't dump flash with clip on (the device is starting?) and CH341 programmer
  • integrated power makes it difficult to play with
  • no LAN port.

I'm perfectly fine with sacrificing the device while trying to run OpenWRT, but I'm not sure enough how to start the support.
I assume the best I could do is to git clone the entire openwrt repo, try to clone files concerning the most similar device I've found - TP-Link RE365? and modify the files?
Anyone is interested in the device as well?

8/64mb flash and ram is a dead end.

It's not futureproof, but currently It should be enough for many applications.

Sure, but PR won't get accepted.

Also, I got no LAN port, which is another no go.
