I am following this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlHWnKVpygw and i have downloaded the drivers that was sent in the video but i was wondering because i have a different wifi usb ( NETGEAR AC1200 Wi-Fi USB 3.0) if i need different drivers, when i run the "lsusb" command the wifi dongle shows up but when i run the "ifconfig wlan1 up" it just says "ifconfig: SIOCGIFFLAGS: No such device" any help?
what's the output -chances are it will be a different driver that's needed
I've read that our adapters only work with Windows and MAC OS and do not support Linux OS

which supports "MT76x2" and this is MT7612 is it not?
kmod-mt76x2u
is probably the package to install
can you send the link for that so i can try to see if it works?
link??? try opkg install kmod-mt76x2u
oh my bad i will try that
root@OpenWrt:~# opkg install kmod-mt76x2u

is there a way i can give you rep?
oh okay wait a second it looks like my wlan0 and wlan1 got mixed up and my wlan1 is my primary is there a way i can swap them around?
Just mark the appropriate response as the solution .... i.e. the one where I suggested which package to install -
