Need help for how to upload frimware?

Hallo ,

permission to ask, from the console ttl what should I do to be able to make my own firmware, without having to wait from the device distributor (because access is limited)

  1. Download firmware: https://firmware-selector.openwrt.org/?version=24.10.0&target=ath79%2Fgeneric&id=yuncore_a770
  1. Install firmware (instructions may vary, this is why I ask you to contact the device distributor)

Feel free to ask questions - but again, it's not clear what you desire since version 17 indeed has iptables.

Lasty, the installation instructions don't appear to have serial TTL flashing directions.

EDIT:

I realized you never followed the official OpenWrt installation instructions.

Did you recover the device after flashing a bad firmware already?

If not, according to this commit, you should be able to flash a firmware using the stock u-boot and TFTP. There is a TFTP firmware for your device in the firmware selector.

DO NOT FLASH RANDOM FIRMWARE AGAIN!

hello,
I got new firmware from the product provider.

but I am having difficulty with the upload process

Can anyone help me, or have you experienced something similar to this error?

I have followed the instructions from the provider, but it still fails.

i'm stuck in step sir

please help me

I have a hard time deciphering your screenshots. Please describe step by step:

  • what you attempted to do,
  • what you expected to happen and
  • what actually happened.

And again, there's a mention of another device now that was not mentioned before: AP240. Where is this coming from?

Also, this doesn't seem like it has anything to do with OpenWrt, TBH.

  1. Are you saying that the provider is unable to help with their own device - but we can?
  2. Do you have this device connected to an active network while performing recovery?
