Need clarification to flash Easybox 803a aka ARV752DPW22

Hi all,

I try to flash an Easybox 803a with current openwrt according to this page: https://openwrt.org/toh/astoria/arv752dpw22
Where it says do backup, u-boot, then flash.
I made 2 complete backups with matching md5 sums. So far so good.
I am stuck at u-boot.
I read the disclaimer, that there is something wrong with the current boot loader for flash, but for ram, trunk should be ok.
So I downloaded u-boot-arv752dpw22_ram/u-boot.asc
Not good. The following instructions want me to use a bin version. I found it in https://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/targets/lantiq/xway/u-boot-arv8539pw22_brn/u-boot.bin
The instructions describe this as 2nd stage for stock boot loader. And that is what I want now (I think). So I followed instructions going to stock bootloader administration mode, then sx the bootloader, and finally start it from memory where it is stuck until I switch the router off/on.

I see this now:

[DANUBE Boot]:y

Go to Memory Address: (default:0x80002000) : 0x
Jump to address 0x80

From the docs, I should see a starting http server. What can I do?

Joachim

Read carefully the information on this page: https://clockworkbird9.wordpress.com/2014/12/25/when-easybox-803-a-meets-openwrt/

oh, great, didn't expect an answer anymore. This article looks promising. Thanks!

Unfortunately I wasn’t careful enough storing the disassembled easybox and broke the eth ports out of their pads. Not sure I can repair this...
