MX4200v1 repeater to Stock Unifi OS w/ Relayd

Was trying to extend my existing Unifi network with a MX4200s to replace an old Netgear EX6400 I have been using. Tried following the relayd article since I can't use WDS since the upstream isn't OpenWRT. I was able to bridge networks and can see traffic and successfully ping the openwrt domain, but I can't access the internet when connected to the newly broadcasted SSID (device was still pulling DHCP for new LAN subnet 192.168.2.X instead of the pool from my main router at 192.168.1.1).

Please connect to your OpenWrt device using ssh and copy the output of the following commands and post it here using the "Preformatted text </> " button:

Remember to redact passwords, MAC addresses and any public IP addresses you may have:

ubus call system board
cat /etc/config/network
cat /etc/config/wireless
cat /etc/config/dhcp
cat /etc/config/firewall

I was actually able to get the 2.4GHz band repeating on the AP after re-configuring to both be on the uplink radio1 with the same channel and bandwidth. I tried setting the 5GHz band on radio0 and it will broadcast but not resolve internet. Relayd article nor the associated video really cover the wireless configuration in great detail. It says I can update any SSID but I can't get internet on any radio outside of the uplink (client SSID).
