I have setup my router as a wireguard client connecting to a remote wireguard VPN server and route all outgoing lan traffic through vpn. This seems to work fine until one of the servers gets congested or goes offline for whatever reason. If I'm home, I can just login to service and create a peer configuration for the best server available. But when I'm gone I don't have that ability.
I've been playing around with adding multiple peers to the VPN interface, hoping that the best one will be selected to connect through but that doesn't seem to be what happens. It looks like it doesn't choose just one peer but bounces between peers, connecting and disconnecting.
Is there a way to have multiple peers and the router chooses the best one based on ping/traffic load/some other stat? If one of the servers is down, it just goes to the next server in the list?
