Multiple 10G ports with Mediatek SOC

Only SDG-8733 has multiple 10G ethernet ports with a MediaTek SOC?

browse through all recent additions to FCC and let us know.

why not use deepseek instead to search FCC?

if you can do that, why are you asking us, instead of deepseek ?

I trust OpenWrt devs/ users more than AI.

if it is a stupid idea, why are you suggesting it ?

in that case, search through all PRs at github, containing those two words....

Why aren't we simply closing / deleting these low effort posts?

That was not my point.

Your initial post contained very little information.

It would be nice if you could put more content in there. And if English isn't your native language, use one of the many translation tools available.

Since there is no information in that post, it's also hard to know what you are actually looking for. What are your requirements? What is your use case?

pretty sure this is a generic "which other devices use this hw combo" kind of question ...

It is more of which 10G hardware will have good Openwrt support due to Mediatek SOC.

I know, but crystal ball's offline for a firmware upgrade ... :frowning:

Broadcom support is already dead. qualcomm is tricky. Good hardware is difficult to flash and official support is usually nonexistent.
Only mediatek hardware has some support left.
Companies are already using Openwrt based firmware but are reluctant to release sources.

So if we can make a table of such hardware for future users.
toh is not everyone cup of tea.

those sources are mostly useless.

toh doesn't contain future devices anyway ...

We will keep this list updated.
10G Hardware is must for editing from NAS etc

that would be a switch, not a router though.

Not everyone wants multiple network hardware for tasks which could be performed by a single wifi router.

Kiss principle exist for a reason.

yeah, pushing data between two standalone 10gbit NICs sounds extremely efficient ...

Keep an eye on Qualcomm SoC ipq95xx
This might become a contender as well in the future https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/pull/17725
