MT7981 emmc clock reduced from 52MHz to 26MHz after upgrading openwrt24

I have a MT7981 device and after upgrading to openwrt24 the actual test clock frequency of emmc has changed from 52MHz to 26MHz. what could be the cause of this? With openwrt21.02 it is possible to use 52MHz.

should we guess what device?

most likely a kernel patch or a DTS update - as we don't know what device it is you'll have to do the detective work

filogic devices (MT7981) were supported starting with 23.05 so your openwrt21.02 is most likely a vendor sdk firmware not supported on this forum

Yes, I originally used the SDK provided by MTK, it is based on openwrt21.02 to do the adaptation, the test found that it can work in 52MHz, but after updating openwrt24 test found that it can only work in 26M, but the dts definition is 52MHz, this is a GL-MT2500 device.

maybe @blocktrron (original support committer) can answer ^
