MT7621 VLAN problem

Version 21.2.02. I have an issue with the Ethernet ports on my Netgear WAC104. I have two wireless networks, LAN and GUEST and I want to run the GUEST network to my WAC104 from my WRT1900ACS. After I setup the VLANs on the WAC104, the port starts flapping with speed negotiations until it settles on 100FD or 10FD. This happens anywhere from a few minutes to four days after a reboot. If I remove the VLANs (and the bridge) the port is stable at 1000FD. (Edit: the problem occurs without a VLAN setup on the port, but at a reduced frequency.) I put a switch (configured for the VLANs) between the WAC104 and WRT1900ACS devices and the problem is with the WAC104, the WRT1900ACS port is stable with the VLANs setup. I have tried different cables and ports.

Which version do you use?

Could be related to https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/issues/9420

Opps! 21.2.02 but I've had this issue with all 21.2 releases.

I just kept blaming it on hardware.

I agree the issue could be related.

Regards,

Jim

Being able to use VLANs with physical ports is completely broken with MT7621, MT7622 systems.

This problem occurs without VLANs as well, but a much reduced frequency.

Yet, I can't find an open issue on this, every one I can find is closed.

This problem seems to be resolved with 22.03.0-rc1!
