Mt76 driver in Raspberry Pi 2 build?

I have an Alfa AWUS036ACM (Mediatek MT7612U).
I use it with a build of a OpenWrt on a Raspberry Pi 4 (Broadcom BCM2711 SoC, ARM Cortex-A72 processor (64bit)).
Linux OpenWrt 5.4.46 #0 SMP Fri Jun 19 13:50:29 2020 aarch64 GNU/Linux
It keeps dieing and I have a Raspberry Pi 2 which is 32bit so I thought I'd try it.

I downloaded https://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/targets/bcm27xx/bcm2708/openwrt-imagebuilder-bcm27xx-bcm2708.Linux-x86_64.tar.xz

I tried:
make image PROFILE=rpi PACKAGES="kmod-usb-net-rtl8152 kmod-mt76 kmod-mt76x2u kmod-mt76x02-usb kmod-mt76x2 kmod-mt76-usb kmod-mt76x2-common kmod-mt76x2u luci usbutils wireless-tools pciutils luci-app-nlbwmon sqlite3-cli bcm27xx-userland openssl-util htop wireguard wireguard-tools kmod-wireguard luci-app-wireguard nut-server vpn-policy-routing luci-app-vpn-policy-routing python3" FILES=files/

I got the errors:

  • opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package kmod-mt76.
  • opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package kmod-mt76x2.
