Hello
I'm running the previous build to this one which is working fine as AP over 90 days uptime.
Is this last one worth upgrading? If yes, is there a simple way to do it without me having to setup things from scratch?

If it's just AP, then updating to the latest build might not much have an effect on yours.
When updating/upgrading, just make sure the "keep settings" is selected (which is on by default).
I've pushed the source branch 4.7.4 don't use have issue wifi. In the next days I'll fix it
EDIT:
the problem should be solved on 4.7.4
can someone check if vanilla have issue on wifi with mt76 2026.03.01?
Thanks
@pesa1234 Im using latest vanilla, what kind of issue exactly?
NodeMCU devices lost connection after 3-5 minutes mt76 date?
4.7.4 broken again after update hostapd not compile wait a fix....
Can anyone explain? Do the 4.x.x version numbers in these builds have anything to do with the official releases from the GL.iNet? If so, why does it matter, and if not - why such an interesting versioning scheme?
Does the mtk suffix in the version names have anything to do with cherry-picked commits from the MTK repository [https://git01.mediatek.com/plugins/gitiles/openwrt/feeds/mtk-openwrt-feeds/+log]? Do these commits ever eventually make it into the OpenWrt upstream or the kernel in general?
Seems like an EEE issue?
Solved by remove PS_SYNC.
Anyway source 4.7.4 seems to be stable on my side, on next days I'll compile new version
I figured it was related to power savings! haha
Hi Pesa, congratulations on your work. I wanted to ask if MQ-Cake will be supported in 4.7.4, because I see the option in SQM, but I donāt think it actually enables anything
At the moment I'm focused on WiFi and it seems very good on latest release, on the next days I'll go forward to check network cake rss LRO and jumbo packets
It's already present in 4.7.4 (it was added to sqm-scripts 1.7.0 package 3 weeks ago). You need to enable "Enable multi-queue config" in "Queue Disicipline" (visible after enabling "Advanced Configuration"):
I enabled it, but when I checked the prompt afterward, MQ-Cake wasnāt there. 4-7-4? If you mean the version Iām supposed to compile myself, unfortunately I canāt do that right now. Iām still on 4-7-2. The option is present there as well, but like I said, enabling it doesnāt seem to activate anything. At least I donāt see MQ-Cake listed or active
It won't appear in "Queue setup script". You can verify if it's using MQ by listing tx-* queues of ifb4* by running:
ls /sys/class/net/ifb4eth1/queues/
If you'll see more than 1, it means MQ is enabled:
![]()
Hmm, okay. Iāll check tonight
Hi everyone,
I updated to 4.7.3 and when I run apk update I get:

@moeller0
If Wireless Ethernet Dispatch is enabled, should AQM be disabled?
Thatās nice that @pesa1234 added that option. Itās not there in 25.12.0 but obviously from command line it can be done, but this wonāt help our target. If you read numerous people on the main cake-mq thread our target (and it seems all of Filogic) is not supported among many others.
