Moving from OpenWRT to LEDE - TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v2

Hey,

I have an TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v2 running OpenWRT

  • OpenWrt Chaos Calmer 15.05.1 / LuCI 15.05-149-g0d8bbd2 Release (git-15.363.78009-956be55)
  • Kernel version: 3.18.23

And I have a few questions...

  • Can I switch to LEDE?
  • Would it be a matter of only uploading the firmware in Luci?
  • Where can I find the right image?

Thank you already for the answers!

You can go from OpenWRT to LEDE...

To all people involved in this project: I take my hat of for you. This was super easy.

I found the sysupgrade image, uploaded it, confirmed I wanted to flash and there it went.

Only thing I noticed that my radio stream was cut of for less then a minute.
When the music started playing again, I could login into my router and everything was there.

Now running

  • LEDE Reboot 17.01.4 r3560-79f57e422d / LuCI lede-17.01 branch (git-17.290.79498-d3f0685)
  • Kernel version: 4.4.92

I really almost had to pinch myself for how easy this was.

Thnx!
