Mount remote FTP directory locally into openwrt filesystem

Ubuntu and other Linux distributions have curlftpfs to mount remote FTP share locally. Are there any similar alternatives on OpenWrt?

If not, how can I compile curlftpfs for OpenWrt?

I found some results on GitHub, but they seem to be pretty old.

FTP is almost obsolete nowadays, try SFTP, WebDAV, rsync.
