More than default firewall settings needed?

I have a simple network: one router, one dumb access point, (both Cudy WR3000S running 24.10, same SSID), no VPN, no VLANs, no policy-based routing.

Everything seems to be functioning well.

I have not done anything with firewall settings, and I am hoping that I do not need to because I understand little in the user guide about the firewall. The only need that I am aware of is to block unsolicited incoming WAN packets. I understand that the default firewall settings do that.

Should I do anything with the firewall other than accept the default settings?

Nope, set wan input n forward to drop from reject
You can tick "drop invalid" checkbox too.

Thanks for the quick response, brada4!

Do these settings look good?
