Poor soldering is often a cause of non-responsive serial.
I'm also confused, since the instructions at https://openwrt.org/toh/xiaomi/mir3g#installation seem not to cover what you're trying to do. Which instructions are you following?
Edit: You might want to edit your thread title, as you don't have a boot loop with known-good firmware, you need help installing firmware.
