Missing file in OpenWrt downloads

This article;

Says that the R5C is not yet supported yet offers a link to;
https://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/targets/rockchip/armv8/ openwrt-rockchip-armv8-friendlyarm_nanopi-r5c-squashfs-sysupgrade.img.gz

But that file doesn't exist.
I've never seen this kind of information before, usually, the ones I'm after are already supported.

Is something not updated?
Will the device be supported?
There is no mention of the OpenWrt version?
If I download the image builder found there, what profile should I use for this device?
I'd like the closest to OpenWrt as possible.

UPDATE: I now see the note at the top of the page saying filenames were shortened. Didn't notice that before.

The files are there in the directory listing... but I recommend that you use the firmware selector -- it's easier than navigating through all the directories in the downloads site:

https://firmware-selector.openwrt.org/?version=SNAPSHOT&target=rockchip%2Farmv8&id=friendlyarm_nanopi-r5c

Thank you.

The reason I try to find them is because that's where I'll usually find the imagebuilder package.
In the link you sent me, I don't see any such option however.

Ah, I see the link now. This is nice to know about, thanks again.

Some last things;

Will the device be supported?
Why are the files there since they don't seem to be openwrt or I'm missing something?

Presumably in 24.xx, but you'd have to ask the dev team to know for sure.

I'm not sure I understand your question... snapshot files are built (nominally) daily. It's possible that the system was actively working on the target when you happened to look previously (or maybe your eyes glazed over with the directory listing -- I know mine have at times).

Yes, I had not see the notice at the top that mentioned file names were shortened.
Since I didn't see openwrt as the start of the file names, that caused me to wonder if these files were from some other source such as friendlywrt themselves.

All makes sense now. Thanks very much for your help.

I tried the default sysupgrade file found in the support page but that doesn't open any usable ports.

I was hoping to use that to then get the network details for my own build since building without specifically configuring the network leads to no network on boot.

PORT      STATE    SERVICE
1033/tcp  filtered netinfo
1300/tcp  filtered h323hostcallsc
2382/tcp  filtered ms-olap3
6567/tcp  filtered esp
8021/tcp  filtered ftp-proxy
8081/tcp  filtered blackice-icecap
8291/tcp  filtered unknown
15660/tcp filtered bex-xr

I guess I'll have to post a new question.

Yeah... a new thread for that question makes sense -- it'll get the attention of the people who can help with that specific issue.
