Hi. I have NAS Kimax HD03WF with fat32 HDD, containing video colection attached (Router model Kimax H1, firmware version 1.7.5, MiniDLNA v1.1.5.)
It works fine from Windows.
However, recently I tried to connect my TV to it and encountered problems:
I couldn't find a way to access files by specifying the path directly, only through MiniDLNA/MediaItems.
MiniDLNA changes all media file extensions to .m4a and incorrectly indexes video files:
on the miniDLNA page (192.168.1.250:8200) all files are listed as audio, although there are no audio files among them.
When indexing libraries, not all files are indexed. The number of video files in the list is always limited to 3, most of the rest are indexed as music.
In the links, the file names are replaced with numbers, which is inconvenient when creating a playlist.

It appears you are using firmware that is not from the official OpenWrt project.
When using forks/offshoots/vendor-specific builds that are "based on OpenWrt", there may be many differences compared to the official versions (hosted by OpenWrt.org). Some of these customizations may fundamentally change the way that OpenWrt works. You might need help from people with specific/specialized knowledge about the firmware you are using, so it is possible that advice you get here may not be useful.
Ask for help from the maintainer(s) or user community of the specific firmware that you are using.
Provide the source code for the firmware so that users on this forum can understand how your firmware works (OpenWrt forum users are volunteers, so somebody might look at the code if they have time and are interested in your issue).
If you believe that this specific issue is common to generic/official OpenWrt and/or the maintainers of your build have indicated as such, please feel free to clarify.
Thanks for the reply.
I came here because I found a link in the Kimax properties window.
It seems like the best thing to do is try changing the software.
I read that the Kimax U35WF firmware is compatible with this thing
