Mini PCIe Gen 2 to PCI-E Wireless Adapter

Hi,

I was looking at an adapter like this:

I'm thinking at a future upgrade to the Compex WLT639, but it is PCIe Gen 2.

Do you know if Gen 2 devices would work with one of these adapters. I can't find any specifically saying they will work with Gen 2?

PCIe is compatible in both direction (I'm using an Intel ax200 in an old ivy-bridge µATX mainboard).
