Mikrotik LHG 5 ax support - IPQ5010 - maybe a hardware donation helps?

Hi, I'm considering buying a Mikrotik LHG 5 AX - the successor to the LHG 5 AC. According to docs, it is IPQ-5010 based with QCN6102 wifi. As far as I could see, both wifi and cpu seem "somewhat" supported, as is ROS7. The regular setup of LHG5AX would also match my needs somewhat but I'd rather use an open OS.

So my question is: would trying OpenWRT on this device be a possibility? Please note that I'm not asking for a working solution, I'm willing to mess around with serial connections if that is what is needed. Also, I'm willing to donate a LHG-5-AX if that is of help. Anyone? Amsterdam area, NL.

WX5600 woudn't be an option, it's 50€ ?

Probably not. I need an actual beam, crossing 1+km with high throughput and only farm land in between and the WX5600 doesn't seem to have a parabolic antenna. Already ordered a TP-Link CPE710 which is a bit of a safer bet regarding OpenWRT. Will see what HW revision I'll get. Was wondering if the Mikrotik could be supported, too.

Ipq5010 is part of the ipq5018 family which is fully supported and so is qcn6122 wifi.

suggests ipq5010 && 256 MB RAM, which would be an instant -and fatal- disqualification for OpenWrt support on this device; >=512 MB RAM are a hard requirement (and very much on the low end).
