Migration path from 19.07 to 21.02 - what config is not kept?

Quota from https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/network/dsa/upgrading-to-2102

However, there is no “keep-configuration” migration path from 19.07 to 21.02 for targets that switched from swconfig to DSA.

Does it mean that absolutely no configuration is kept eg. dhcp, firewall, etc OR only swconfig is not kept?

Do not attempt to keep settings across the upgrade and don’t try to restore a backup. Doing so will cause major problems. Your router will be in a completely default state after the upgrade - no config files will remain from your previous setup.

That said, a backup will be useful and you can usually restore certain specific files directly - firewall and dhcp are fine. Don’t try to restore network or wireless files, though. Just use them as a reference as you recreate your config.

Thanks for straight to the point answer.
In this case I should perform sysupgrade with -n switch, right?
-n do not save configuration over reflash

Eg.
root@OpenWrt:~# sysupgrade -vn /tmp/openwrt-21.02.1-xyz-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin

Correct. You may also need the force argument. Make sure you have the right image for your device.
