Merge Multiple DHCPs on VLANS over one wire

Hello,
New OpenWRT user here and i am wondering how should i go about my problem.
Tried fiddling with it but to no avail.

Right now i have a Router (WR850N) connected to managed switch and i need to create 3 DHCP Servers running together in one wire. Then split them up in my Switch. Was thinking to do it using VLANs but i'm not sure how to combine each DHCP server with specific VLAN.

Have anyone tried this? is it even possible? how should i go about this?

Not sure I understand your goal:

  • your router "uplink=wan" is connected to a switch
  • you are trying to split the network in 3 subnets, each one on separate wire connected to 3 lan ports?
    or
  • you want to create 3 guest wifi networks?
    or
  • assign different subnets to different clients based on some criteria?

Internet --> WAN - Router - LAN --> Switch - and here i need to split the subnets which i could do just using the VLAN functionality of the switch.
and yes that basically what i want to do.

Since VLAN is already on, just create 3 vlans based on the model of the one currently ssigned to LAN. Just leave on one lan port open for each subnet. Change the device of the current LAN interface to the first vlan and create to new ones with the right DHCP ranges. I would also get rid of the br-lan device.

Thank you for the help everything works flawlesly!
